Art Direction, Design & Creative — Netflix

For the launch of Ragnarok Season 3 on Netflix, I art directed a visual shift in tone to reflect the evolution of the series and its characters.

The previous season had leaned into darker, moodier territory as the characters transitioned into adulthood. For Season 3, the brief called for something more vibrant and bold. I looked to the show’s roots in Norse mythology and its in-world comic book as a starting point, using both as a framework for the campaign’s visual language.

The resulting work embraces saturated colour and heightened contrast, drawing inspiration from Nordic landscapes and the aurora borealis. The typography references comic book forms, giving the assets a graphic, larger-than-life presence. Light became a central device, used to carve and burn text into the frame, creating a sense of energy and scale across formats.

The campaign marked a clear tonal progression for the series and gave the season a distinct visual identity.
